To book an appointment simply go to our Book Now page and specify the Treatment, Date and preferred Time? alternatively you can phone or text us.

Your Massage Therapist will come fully equipped, the massage will be carried out on the massage couch and all essential oils will be provided. You can use your own towels if preferred, you will need to provide 2 x Large and 1 x small Hand Towel.

No we do not and will never provide Sensual Massage, this is a professional massage service.

Yes, as long there is adequate space for the Massage Couch and for your Therapist to move around the couch freely. We also suggest a room that has an accessible plug socket.

You can pay for your treatment in cash at the end of the treatment session. If you would like to book in advance, you also have the option to pay  a deposit of £15.

Massage Essex Cancellation and Transferable Deposit Policy

At Massage Essex, we value your time and strive to provide a seamless booking experience. To ensure fairness to all our clients and to help us manage our therapists’ schedules effectively, the following cancellation and deposit policies apply:

Individual Bookings

  • Notice Period:
    A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to transfer deposits or make changes to your booking.
  • Non-Refundable Deposit:
    Deposits for individual bookings are non-refundable. However, with at least 48 hours’ notice, your deposit can be transferred to a future booking within 3 months from the original appointment date.
  • Changes Within 48 Hours:
    If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.

Group Bookings or Minimum Spend Appointments

  • Notice Period:
    Group bookings (e.g., group pamper days, events, or bookings involving a minimum spend) require at least 7 days’ notice for changes or cancellations.
  • Non-Refundable Deposit:
    Deposits for group bookings are non-refundable. However, they may be transferred to a future group booking within 3 months with sufficient notice.
  • Changes Within 7 Days:
    If less than 7 days’ notice is given, your deposit will be forfeited. For rescheduling, a new deposit will be required.

Couples Massages

  • Notice Period:
    Couples massages, require at least 72 hours’ notice for any changes or cancellations.
  • Non-Refundable Deposit:
    Deposits for couples massages are non-refundable but may be transferred to another booking date with sufficient notice (within 3 months).
  • Changes Within 72 Hours:
    If less than 72 hours’ notice is provided, the deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required for rebooking.

General Policies

  • No-Show Appointments:
    If you fail to attend your appointment without notice, the full deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to reschedule.
  • Rescheduling After Deposit Forfeiture:
    If your deposit is forfeited due to insufficient notice, you can reschedule your appointment by paying a new deposit equal to 50% of the original booking value.
  • Late Changes Fee:
    In some cases, if a client requests a change to their booking after the notice period, we may accommodate the change at our discretion, subject to a late change fee of £25 per person.
  • Fairness to All Clients:
    These policies are designed to ensure that our therapists’ time and travel are managed efficiently, and all clients receive the best possible service.

How to Provide Notice

  • Cancellations or booking changes must be communicated by phone 0208 050 6505 or email Charlene@massageessex.co.uk.
  • Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes to avoid forfeiting your deposit.

Why We Have This Policy

As a small business, we dedicate significant time and resources to ensure your experience is exceptional. Therapists may need to travel long distances or prepare for your booking in advance. Last-minute changes can result in lost income and inconvenience for both therapists and other clients. This policy ensures fairness and helps us continue offering high-quality services.

Unfortunately, you cannot have a pregnancy massage until you are at least 12 weeks pregnant and you would need a Pregnancy Massage. Massage Essex do not currently provide Pregnancy Massage as a Treatments however we can refer you to an external Therapist.

Prepare for Treatment

We kindly ask that you shower before your treatment, this allows the organic essential oils to absorb into the skin and work their magic.

Please prepare a space for your massage therapist to set up. This should be close to a plug socket and include an area for them to lay their couch with space to move around.

Consider any specific requirements, medical conditions or allergies your massage therapist should be aware of. Your therapist will carry out a short consultation to ensure the appointment is tailored to your specific needs.
